i love the green and bamboo combination

view from my seat

i even liked the bathroom

graze is the new restaurant from chef troy of l'etoile.  i have been waiting for graze to open for sometime now, and i love it.  yummy food, great prices, and one of the best views in madison.

sail away

i had the pleasure of sailing with planet propaganda people on lake mendota.  sailing = fun.

zip dang

zip dang is madison's new boutique for handmade ladywear.   owner/skirt maker natalie bass has been making skirts and selling them on her site orangy porangy for years.  her skirts are the only skirts i wear, and i LOVE them (natalie is pretty fantastic too).

maxwell street days

every year the capitol kids crew works at maxwell street days, a huge street sale in madison. this year it was super hot...high 80's up to 90. richie and sam decided this cooler would help beat the heat.

my friend sam and i ventured over to cedarburg wisconsin a few weeks ago and fell in love with the town. it's really charming; amazing old brick buildings, a beautiful creek, and fun little shops. it was about a 2 hour drive from madison...perfect day trip.

Madison Marathon

james, post race

checking out the finish

puppy

lux: rock n roll

my friend james pretty much rocked the madison marathon today. he came in 12th in his age group out of hundreds, and 80th over all out of thousands. it was a bit on the hot side today, but it was pretty amazing seeing someone with such a gift do what they are born to do. the day included a best friend, fantastic school pals, a puppy, and my favorite little guy lux.
