i stopped by van hise to get a few things out of my classroom...took a look at the school garden we planted this spring. wow...it's huge now. i wish the kids were around to see how amazing it is.
nate and i recently had the chance to go to portland oregon to visit our friends brian and heather. they were the worlds greatest hosts making sure every moment of our trip was filled with beauty, adventure, and yummy food. a highlight of our trip was multnomah falls.
my friend sam and i ventured over to cedarburg wisconsin a few weeks ago and fell in love with the town. it's really charming; amazing old brick buildings, a beautiful creek, and fun little shops. it was about a 2 hour drive from madison...perfect day trip.
I am Beth Cantwell, art teacher at Van Hise Elementary School in Madison, WI. This is a blog for the members of the VHE community. My intention is to inform you about what is being created in art, as well as have a means of communicating important information.
This is my fourth year at VHE and seventh in the district. I LOVE MY JOB! My students' creativity and energy lifts me up.
I am also the Positive Behavior Support Coach (PBS). I work with an amazing team to create and implement school wide behavior expectations, collect and analyze data, and create universal practices for VHE.
This blog is for you to communicate with me. Send me a message, comment on posts, and feel free to share the link with others who may be interested.
